Emma is a licensed LLMSW who began her clinical journey with Purple Change Wellness as an intern, where she spent the past year cultivating a strong, grounded therapeutic presence. Now joining the practice as a therapist, she brings forward the same warmth, curiosity, andsteadyprofessionalism that made her such a natural fit with our clients and team.

Emma’s work is rooted in the belief that healing happens in spaces where people feel deeply seen and genuinely supported. She approaches therapy with a calm, relational style, one that honors each client’s lived experience while helping them build the internal tools needed for emotional clarity, resilience, and meaningful change. Clients often describe her as calm, compassionate, and confidently direct, offering validation and gentle challenges in a way that helps them feel safe and settled from the start.

During her internship, Emma built a strong clinical foundation in trauma-informed care, emotional regulation, andstrength-based work.

Today, she supports clients navigating:

• Anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm

• Depression and mood-related concerns

• Chronic pain and mind-body experiences

• Women’s health and hormonal transitions

• ADHD and neurodiversity-affirming support

• Relationship and boundary challenges

• Identity development & self-understanding

• Life transitions and seasons of change

As a therapist, Emma’s goal is to offer a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, better understand themselves, and begin moving toward healing and meaningful change. She integrates evidence-based modalities with a compassionate, person-centered approach, believing therapy should feel collaborative and empowering, never rushed, never pressured, and always grounded in the client’s pace and goals. Her intention is to help clients understand their emotional landscape, reconnect with their strengths, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and whole.

Emma is currently accepting private-pay clients while insurance paneling is in progress. She looks forward to continuing her work with the PCW community and supporting clients through healing, growth, and the creation of new possibilities.

Outside of the therapy room, Emma enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors, traveling, watching movies, reading, and being with her pets, friends, and family. She values connection, curiosity, and creating spaces where people feel comfortable being themselves. She brings this same energy into her clinical work, inviting clients into a space where they can breathe, reflect, and begin again.

Angelah Cramer

LMSW, CAADC, CCS

EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist

Founder | Psychotherapist | Purple Change Wellness®

Booking Window: Monday through Friday 4:15 pm - 8:15 pm

For more than two decades, Angelah Cramer has devoted her work to helping adults heal with clarity, structure, and depth. As the founder of Purple Change Wellness®, she has built a clinical environment where healing is intentional, gentle, and grounded in excellence, a space designed for adults who think deeply, feel intensely, and carry more than they show.

Angelah’s therapeutic style is highly structured, modality-driven, and accountability-focused. Rather than relying on open-ended talk therapy, she uses focused, evidence-based approaches that resonate with gifted, high-achieving, and neurodivergent adults who thrive with routine, accountability, and a clear therapeutic process. Her work is especially attuned to high-achieving, gifted, and high-functioning autistic adults who embody a neurodivergence of excellence, individuals who often appear capable and composed while managing complex emotional, sensory, or relational experiences beneath the surface.

Clients Who Are a Strong Fit for Angelah’s Approach

  • Are gifted, high-achieving, or high-performing in professional or academic environments

  • Identify as autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent, especially those who excel through focus, intensity, and precision

  • Thrive on structure, routine, predictability, and clear expectations

  • Prefer goal-oriented, evidence-based modalities over open-ended talk therapy

  • Carry high internal standards, perfectionism, or a drive toward excellence

  • Appear outwardly capable while managing unseen emotional, sensory, or relational challenges

  • Value accountability, commitment, and follow-through in the therapeutic process

  • Seek a clinician who can identify patterns, nuances, and subtle emotional threads often missed by others

She creates spaces where these hidden experiences are recognized, validated, and gently unraveled, allowing clients to build self-trust, clarity, and a renewed sense of possibility.

Angelah is a Certified EMDR Therapist through EMDRIA and a Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) Therapist, using structured, evidence-based modalities that help adults process adverse and overwhelming experiences with clarity and stability. She is licensed in both Michigan and Florida as a clinical master’s level social worker and provides trauma-focused care grounded in nervous-system awareness. Her work also extends into the development of emerging clinicians, where she mentors and supervises graduate-level social work interns and practitioners pursuing certification and licensure.

Across every role, Angelah brings a steady, intuitive presence and a gift for seeing the strengths beneath the struggle. She notices patterns that others miss, subtle threads that reveal where healing and clarity are ready to unfold. She continues to innovate in business and wellness, creating environments where clients and clinicians cultivate resilience, emotional intelligence, and meaningful, lasting change.

Outside her professional work, Angelah finds grounding in exploring new ideas through nature, movement, and immersive storytelling. She gravitates toward formats that allow her to absorb information deeply and reflectively, choosing approaches that challenge her thinking and expand her perspective. Curiosity remains a steady thread in her life, guiding her toward experiences that bring balance, renewal, and connection.
